I am a traveler, fitness enthusiast, and photographer who loves to capture breathtaking landscapes and heartwarming moments that cannot be replicated.
In 2012, I took on running as a hobby but little did I know that the sport would soon become a part of my lifestyle. Running has deepened my love for travel and cultivated meaningful relationships along the way. Through the sport, I've taken leadership roles as a Nike pacer (leading group runs based on minutes per mile). I have also been able to combine running along with my passion for humanitarian efforts that lead me to partake in international races while volunteering at a transitional homeless shelter in Puerto Rico, an oncology center in Panama, and raising funds for a blind trade school in Honduras.
The sport has also ignited my passion for photography, focusing on lifestyle and moving objects – a craft in the NYC running community where a handful of female photographers are known. Although there is not a vast female photographer representation, I did not allow the precedent to discourgage me from emerging on the scene. In 2017, days leading into the NYC Marathon, I purchased my first Canon camera, and on that day, Ana B. left a mark amongst her peers. On NYC Marathon race day, I spend hours capturing amazing shots between miles 20 and 21. The captured photos were later praised by runners and expert photographers alike! Since 2017, I've sharpened my photography skills, continued to travel, run, volunteer for socially conscious efforts, and expanded my portfolio by shooting corporate, wedding, and food events.
This platform showcases my creative angle but the goal is to continue building on future content and collaborate with other creatives on prosperous partnerships/projects.
